Yeah,just as the title says. I tought it weird that i did not get any journal updates but then i randomly found it under "Posts"...Seriously,they couldnt have put them together with the other messages or giving it a different name!?

And all the info i wrote in my gallery folders are also now suddenly gone! I took screenshots of everything as i had a bad feeling but when the info remained after the switch i tought everything was good but now its suddenly gone. F*** Y** Eclipse!!!

The only thing that actually got prettier was the removal of the grey color but i would rather trade it back and have the old style gallery WITH my info written up.

I read other peoples journals/toughts that activity has dropped with both watchers & faves and i totally understand. I will still remain active here because at the moment there is no other place that is like the old DeviantArt but if one pops up i will definitly consider moving!

(I will give a heads up if that ends up happening,no worries.)

What i will not do is renewing my Core membership,i will stick out the ads and what-nots and i sincerly hope that all the other people who have Core will do the same. The ones in charge need a wake-up-call and since they have ignored every negative comment being made and refused to answer/adress them,the only thing that would hit them hard would be losing money. Maybe then they would finally start paying some attention to their users and actually ask us whats wrong.

Im still here, even if its been a while since my last update. Christmas 2022 was spent with family, staying overnight at my parents house but when it was time for me to leave the weather was really bad with a Blizzard so i decided to stay a few extra days.

Well, those days turned into weeks and im still here, thanks to what you see above: Icy Roads!

The road to my parents' house is what you might call an old Forest Road and it has been covered in Ice since after Christmas so my car and myself has been stuck here. Luckily, my mom has a car we have used to go shopping and visit my apartment to pick up stuff but that in itself has been a struggle with a car spinning sideways on the ice whiledriving and most of the time has been spent indoors.

And when it finally seemed like the ice was melting, it of course started to rain and freeze over again, giving us the road you see above. I will post the full picture in my gallery just for fun so you can see the end of the road.

This is actually a good road, compared to what we had earlier...

And this was just the Forest Road, the main road has also been just as bad but luckily the ice has mostly melted there now.

On to happier news, i have become an Aunt again by my little brother to a girl! He now has two girls and im so happy for him but the downside is that he and his family lives a couple of hours away and he has requested that my mom comes and visit to help them adjust to a new baby. So the plan is that she will stay for at least 1.week and will travel there next week. So i will need to stay and watch over her animals,so i dont know if i will be able to come home again before next month...

I have managed to bring some of my markers and linearts with me to do a bit of coloring in the time that i hav been stuck here but my old scanner is very heavy so bringing it with me was not an option so until im finally home again for good there will be no new colored stuff from me.

Its that time again that i feel the need to make another Journal update, just because.

Since Halloween is coming soon (hoping to color a bunch of Halloween themed linearts!) and im planning on gaming Harvestella and Pokemon Scarlet/Pokemon Violet when they come out, im hoping to stay really busy. And i also need to make some time for family in-between, so i decided to update my journal now, when i have the time.

So, what has been up with me since last time:

I finally got the chance to re-supply some of my markers and accidently discovered i had a coloring book i had purchased way earlier that i had not printed out yet!?

Turns out, when i bought it online my printer was out of ink and when i finally got it fixed i had forgot about the purchase, before suddenly realising earlier this month that these pages was in fact not printed out. So i got that fixed and have started working on them.

As of now,i have several sources of linearts to pick and color from:

1. DeviantArt! Lots of free Linearts To Color but i have neglected them as of late, as i have worked on coloring my way throught my coloring books but i have randomly picked out some to color in between other stuff.

2. Coloring Books! I buy them digitally and this year i have tried making it my goal to actually finish some of them, so i can get back to color more random linearts. As of now, there is at least 1, maybe 2, new coloring books that im waiting on to be released this year that i will purchase when they are out and will probably start coloring on right away afterwards.

3. Etsy! I have bought a lot of digital stamps/linearts from here over the last few years (and some color packs) and just like with the ones from DeviantArt, they have been neglected. Most of what i buy is actually bought during a sale so i have saved a lot of money while knowing i would not get the chance to color what i have bought any time soon. Its a lot so im hoping to really start working on them late this year or next year.

4. Patreon! Im a Patreon supporter of several artists and have a big backlog of linearts to color from here as well but i actually color some of them from time to time. Really depends on when inspiration hits me.

5. Miscelannous! Random linearts purchased from other places online or freebies recevied from FB groups and the like. Not so many and not high on the priority list.

So to summarize: Im trying to focus my attention on finishing coloring my purchased digital coloring books because once they are finished, they are finished. When done, it makes it easier to shift my attention to all the other random linearts i have yet to color and i can start focusing on invidual artists or just go all random when coloring. Of course, when seasonal themes such as Halloween and Christmas comes around i tend to focus on linearts with those themes and usually have a lot of fun coloring them. I hope to do the same this year.

New year means new games to play & new linearts to color.

There are some truly amazing artists out there who allow other people to color their linearts either for free or make them availabel throught Patreon,Etsy or even Coloring Books and im so happy that i get the chance to color them all.

Just a heads up, while all the colored linearts i submit is from digital coloring books i have downloaded and then printed out, most of them is also availabel as physical releases so if you see something you would like to color, do check ut the artists. Remember, coloring books also makes for amazing gifts to friends and family if you can afford the wait time and shipping!

My aim for this year is as usual to color more linearts so the ones i have left can be collected in smaller ring binders, as i have way too many ring binders now. Coloring for me is only done when inspiration strikes so im jumping from lineart to lineart and artist to artist as inspiration strikes me, wich often results in lots of linearts being colored from the same artist before i suddenly hit a wall and have to find another type of lineart to color. So expect to see a bunch of different colored linearts from me again this year and be sure to check out the artists who draws them, they are all amazing people who really needs more love!

The big three are coming out this month.

"Skyrim Anniversary Edition", "Shin Megami Tensei V" and "Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl" are here to empty my wallet and steal away my time.

So if i am less active in the month(s) to come you now know why. Perks of being singel and living alone means i can dedicate my time how i wish (aside from taking time out to playing and walking with my dog) and spending obligotary time with family.

Even so, i am still dedicated to coloring and earlier this month i finally finished my goal of finishing coloring a coloring book! A huge personal milestone for me, as i have a huge tendency to jump from lineart to lineart as i lose or gain inspiration for coloring a particular style. This will show when i color a bunch of linearts from one particular artist, that doesnt mean i have stopped coloring oher stuff, im simply feeling so inspired that i cant stop coloring this particular artists linearts.

In the moment im writing this i have 1049(!) favorite linearts here on DA that i plan to color...That does not include my 15+ coloring books and invidual linearts/coloring packs purchased from Etsy or other online stores. So yeah, combined with the fact that some of my favorite artists release new linearts regularly and there are at least 2 new coloring books on the way that i want to buy + a bunch of invidual coloring packs/linearts on my wish list to purchase in the future...

You can expect to see me color linearts for a long time to come, including very different styles from different artists. And if i along the way can inspire other people to discover a new artist they didnt know about throught my coloring, then that would make me very happy. That is how i came into coloring stuff again after all and how i discovered some amazing new artists both on and off DeviantArt.

Just realised i never wrote anything new after my last post,made in 2020...

Well,im still alive and coloring even if it sometimes take some time between my posts. The summer weather with its heat and sometimes rain is taking its toll on my inspiration but it will definitly bounce back when Autumn comes around.

Again,if i suddenly posts a bunch of colored stuff at once it usually means i had a clean-up in my ring binders (i love using them!) where i now store all my linearts-to color and discovered some half-finished linearts that i suddenly got inspiration to finish. For the record i have 3 smaller sized ones and 4 bigger sized ones and almost all of them are packed full of linearts and coloring books i have printed out and plan to color...

Not to mention that some of my favorite artists are releasing new linearts frequently enough that i find myself adding at least 2 new lineart to a folder each month,increasing them even more. Even so,my goal is clear: I WILL one day finish coloring them all as long as im able to color and have the supplies to do it.

But for now my personal goal is to one day get down to 1-2 big size ring binders and not go over that. It will save me both space and make me more time for other stuff that needs doing in real life,not to mention i can look at all of my finished colorings in my gallery and enjoy looking at them forever.

Final notice to any new watchers/visitors: I do NOT draw anything,everything you see in my gallery are other peoples linearts i have colored! If you want to request a commision/trade or omething else,you need to contact the original artist!
